As you may have already heard, Google is getting more and more strict with apps and now are requiring a whopping $75,000+ security assessment for new apps using permissions that require access to things like Gmail and Google Calendar.

This issue has been chronicled through the internet so we will not get into that. The important thing to note is that while the FunnelBake team is working to get our app approved by Google, there is an alternative for people using G Suite which has been brought to us by the Google Verification team.

G Suite users can White-list our app so they can start using it as normal while we are pending verification. This is great news for G Suite users, and I want to give you a step by step guide on how to set this up:

(BTW, if you want to follow the instructions directly from Google, click here, start on step 2.)

Step 1:

Go to your Admin Console and search for "Trusted Apps" then click on it:

Step 2:

Toward the bottom of the page, you will see the trusted apps settings link, go ahead and click that.

Step 3:
At the bottom right corner, you will see a yellow plus button, click that to open the app search form.

Step 4:
Select Web Application, then copy and paste FunnelBake's OAuth ID below, then click Add:

Step 5:
Congratulations! You've successfully white-listed FunnelBake to be used with your G Suite Account. You can now log in to the FunnelBake App's integration section and connect to your G Suite account.

As always, if you have any questions please reach out to us via chat or email at support@funnelbake.com

Happy Gmailing!
